The LGBTQ Movement describes the history spanning movement for equal rights of File:Lesbian-icon.png lesbian, File:Gay-icon.png gay, File:Bisexual-icon.png bisexual, File:Trans-icon.png transgender and all other queer people.
Advocacy for LGBTQ+ people can be found across the political spectrum, however is mainly espoused by 
social progressives and people/governments that are either File:Leftism-icon.png Leftist or File:Centrism-icon.png Centrist.
