hi this is the editing guide for the politiball wiki which i am NOT bothered enough to make formal
general tips
best way to learn mediawiki stuff is to look at what other pages do and repeat what they do. you can view the source code of pages by clicking the "edit source" button and not saving any changes, which lets you experiment and stuff. you also have your own sandbox at /YourUsername/sandbox in the menu on the top right to experiment and whatever
also do not use visual editor. always use source editing
if you use chatgpt or any other fuckass ai to write your article you're getting muted
infoboxes
each different type of page has a different infobox template
- Template:Party for parties
- Template:Value for values
- Template:Ideology for ideologies
to learn what goes in what places, just look at how other pages do it and copy it from them substituting information OR if i got around to it there should be a guide on each on what to put in each. if there's none in like a week after i type this spam ping me on the discord and vandalise my user page
