The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is a right-wing to far-right party in the File:India-icon.png Republic of India. It was founded in 1980 by Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Lal Krishna Advani, whom the former would later serve as Prime Minister of India from 1998 to 2004.
