The 
Chinese Communist Party is the dominant ruling party in the 
People's Republic of China. Founded in 1921 by Chen Duxiu and Li Dazhao, it has ruled Mainland China since 1949 after Mao Zedong had successfully defeated most of the 
Nationalist forces.
It is the second largest political party in the world, only behind the Bharatiya Janata Party. It initially started off as your typical Communist party, until during Deng Xiaoping's leadership where the CCP started becoming pro-Capitalist.
