The File:PDIP-icon.png Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (Indonesian: Partai Demokratik Indonesia Perjuangan) is a center-left political party in File:Indonesia-icon.png Indonesia.
Founded in 1973 as the Indonesian Democratic Party (PDI), the party is led by former President Megawati Sukarnoputri, the daughter of former President and founding father Sukarno, and has since been the largest party in the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) since the 2014 elections.
In 1999, the party changed itself to its current name after Megawati was forced out of the leadership back in 1996. The party however split into both the File:PDIP-icon.png PDI-P and PDI, with the original PDI eventually disbanding in 2003.
