Self-Insert

Britnordicism is a Jacobite/Toryist (which are inseparable), Patriotic, Economically Syncretic, and Culturally Syncretic ideology. It advocates for the return of the House of Stuart, the unity of Great Britain, CANZUK, and for the stimulation of culture.

Jacobitism and British Legitimism as a whole isn't very well defined. You could view this as standardised and improved strain of British Legitimism. This lack of principle is both a blessing and a curse, it means I can be more original, but also means I am the only one being original.

Beliefs

Welcome to the Economics section of my Ideology. Remember, this is only the beginning of your journey through the depths of this long mess that are the beliefs of my self insert. Well this bit is to sum up my Economics for those traitors people who don't want to read all my beliefs. Right so First I believe in a Distributist Economy, however some industries are too heavy and expensive to be owned by small businesses. These should be owned by larger businesses and/or State-Owned Corporations. Public Services such as Healthcare, Public Transport, and Education should be State owned Corporations, and things like computers should be owned by larger businesses. Intellectual businesses such as museums, and theaters should fall under more Charitable means (Please note cinemas fall under large businesses due to their expensive nature). The rest of businesses would be small. Markets would be essential for many listed reasons. And Holiday Homes shouldn't exist, though a bit strange admittedly, it is one of the ways to fight tourism and the housing crisis.

Now we have already discussed that the majority of business is going to be small business. Now of coarse this would make it difficult for the average guy who doesn't want to get up and would rather press a button and have it brought to his door. Now luckily for him there should be an economic stimulant. Markets. Each Locality should have one Market. This brings the locality to one place at one time creating a larger center of business than if the said Locality had lot's of small Markets the trade would be much lower. However this being said if the Locality has a Port it would be allowed yet another Market for Merchants to trade. Merchants would be the way in which foreign goods and materials reach Britain rather than businesses buying goods from abusive foreign factories. There are many advantages of markets and few disadvantages in a distributist society. One of these is that it allows Child Work without Child Labour. Children earn respect and respect for work without being horribly abused (so beautiful (Makes a tear come to my eye)). Another of these advantages is that it is less wasteful. If you have a large excess that you can't eat before it goes off you sell it in the local Market, simple. On the flip side if you have less than your supposed to have you can buy from the local Market. Of coarse Markets would not be the only center of commerce, high streets would exist as well.

My cousin has moved in with her boyfriend. I am not here to judge about that or anything along those lines, but I am here to say that they were lucky. Like, incredibly lucky. How were they lucky you may ask? They actually bought a house, off an auction as it fell into bad condition. Most couples can't buy houses in the countryside or in isolated coastal communities like mine. Rich folk will buy our houses (taking them off the market of coarse) and this brings house prices up. The solution is simple, stop people buying holiday homes. they may take our freedom, but not our homes

Agrarianism

My advocacy for the Agrarian lifestyle mostly means in East Anglia because I live there, I do not know what is best for other regions. In East Anglia we have always had two centers of economy, Coastal industries (shipbuilding and Merchants) and Agrarian Industries. Now Coastal Industries are another matter and one of my reasons for an advocacy for a Navy and of Merchants, so we shall focus on Agrarian Industries. Throughout the 20th century massive change happened across East Anglia. Most people were Farmers, now most are unemployed or have meaningless, underpayed jobs, so how has this happened. The idiots in London happened. They decided it was awful for people to do farmwork and so they coerced people out of it. But East Anglia was and is rural. You can't expect urban jobs in a rural area. What you can expect is rural jobs in a rural area. And so I see Agrarianism as the only economic way out in East Anglia.

Against Capitalism and Socialism, in favour of Distributism

I am going to read more Economic theory for this one.

Government

You made it past Economy, now it's onto Government. Well of coarse I need to summarise my Government beliefs. First and most important of all is Jacobitism. Jacobitism is, to put it simply, the advocacy for the return of the house of Stuart. Next is that I believe there should be one Parliament to look after each nation in the Union acting as a regent, and that the Members of these Parliaments can be called on as part of a National Parliament by the King in a time where he sees it best fit. Next there should be a Clan Assembly in order to have a Popular Representation that should be used as a limit against a King's Power against his people. Next there is the Witan that decides who will be King, they of coarse chose from a number of close relatives to the prior King. Then we have Custumals which would be the the main mechanism in which Localities would govern themselves by.

The Witan

We mentioned the house for the Nation (the Parliaments) the house for the Populus (the Clan Assembly) but this section is about the house for the State (this may be very shocking but it is the Witan). The Witan is a body I hope to resurrected from the many institutions provided by history that have been discarded and tossed into ashes of legend. The Witan was the King's Royal Council, they advised the King on his decisions but, perhaps more interestingly, choose the King from the King's closest Male Relatives. Is support the resurrection of this institution. Although I would point you to the the further clarification in Reconciliation of the Witan and the legitimate Royal House.

The Clan Assembly

Democracy on a National level has many issues and is an overall flawed system that leads to moral corruption. However there is one idea that I can agree with. Popular representation on the National level. Why? Let's just say bad historical experiences such as the closing of the coal mines by Thatcher. This would be part of two restrictions of the King. The first one being based on Land ownership (Customals/Earldoms) and the second one based on the population. The one based on population should be this, the Clan Assembly. Why should we have a Clan Assembly? Well here is why. First of all there is the near Moral incorruptibility of British Tradition Clans. In the British Tradition Clans share a common Kinship which of coarse brings a familiarity and removes rivalry from this popular representation. And second is the traditional value of the British Model of the Clan.

(mostly a Jacobite Belief) Westminster for a long time had total control over the United Kingdom. Recently Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland all recieved a devolved parliament. The issue with this is that the powers of their parliaments are not equal to those of Westminster's. Now it is key to understand that these parliaments should NOT be the same as the modern example. Before we go to deep into this we need to look into the meaning of the word parliament. The word Parliament comes from the French word Parler (to discuss) and thus parliament became a word for a formal conference so a King would hold Parliament. The King would have the Right to hold Parliament and do so in a time of utmost need for one. This Parliament would gather together all those certified as MPs into one unified Parliament to advise the King on such decisions in such cases as War. should be 3 "other" Parliaments should be ongoing structures to take care of minor issues on behalf of the King and acts only announced and enacted with permission from the King. Now this may sound overly-authoritarian, but this is ultimately to ensure stability. These 3 "other" Parliaments should meet up at most once a month with exceptions of national requirement. This is mostly so MPs can actually serve their respective communities rather than just sit in a seat all day debating. Selection of MPs (and MWs) will be touched on in an upcoming belief section.

Jacobitism

A long time ago there was a Man called Arthur, he ran a Kingdom of the Britons until his death and his name has been celebrated throughout History. His Kingdom fell and thus the Kingdom of the Britons was no more, that is until a man, James I, rose to be King of the whole of Britain. When this happened he became a successor to that great Arthur and his house a successor to the House of Pendragon. However this did not last. Once again the throne was Usurped. The Righteous house of Great Britain should rise again, and when a successor sits on the throne as King our Nation shall for the first time in many years rest in the knowledge that our Nation would be reconciled with God under one righteous, God-fearing ruler.

So with all the talk of Kings calling Parliament and election of a monarch who is part of the House of Stuart (Stuart Aethlings to be specific) who actually gets to do any of this? Well we will start with the Members of the Witan. The Members of the Witan are quite literally deciding who rules the country, and as such we should take three things into account when selecting them. These should be Honour, Influence, and Skill. First of all we will have the nobles, these nobles should rule anything from a County up. Next we will have the Wisest of the land, these should be important Clergymen, respected thinkers from across the land. Next we will have the Guildsmen for representation of the brightest of the land and finally some of the honourd individuals of the land (example: revered War-General or incredibly charitable individuals). Now let's talk about the Members of Parliament, who would need be taking care of their respective nations (Scotland, England, Wales) while also needing to be ready to be called by the King (we will touch on a few extra people for a called Parliament later). The Local Nobility (I will create a section on Noble Structure in the future) should gather a pool of individuals who would have been notable servants of their community. Of this pool Locals will elect an MP to represent their Area. In a called Parliament the Church would be present, as well as various Generals and Important individuals.

Nobility Structure

Right so Britain's nobility is broken. As they have become almost completely unimportant to Politics ranks have been messed up, people cried, life happened, life was ruined, all that stuff. Now of coarse I won't lecture you on how broken our broken nobility is but it is necessary to define it in order for well, my entire ideology to work, so I will lecture you on how the nobility should work (you are so thrilled right now). So at the head should be the King, by the Grace of God of Great Britain yadayadayada, anyway he should be the ultimate head of the Nation, the nobility, the Law, all that stuff. Then next are the Æthelings, these are the possible successors of the King, Nephews, Children all those close relatives that are close relatives of the King who the Witan can choose as the next King, they would hold domain over either Scotland, England, or Wales, should the opportunity demand it this could be changed to include such areas as Northern England, or the Scottish Lowlands. Now under them are the Earls which I talk about in "the 20 Earldoms" so if you want me to talk about that then you will be deported from this page, finally their are the Lords, who should should be the Local Nobility I mentioned, they could be called other titles rather than Lord.

The 20 Earldoms

I have identified 20 areas (that I will make a map for) that deserve the status of an Earldom. But what should an Earl be? Well the role of the Earl should essentially be that of a "Mini-King". They should hold an Earl's Court, pass Laws that are too far reaching for Customals and too small scale for National Courts (such as, though cars should be banned, but for example's sake, speed limits), Tax, and essentially ensure their Earldom is working and people are doing their job. Now I have already proposed the return of many devices of Anglo-Saxon governance, which I do greatly appreciate, and now we shall take inspiration from it again. We now speak of the Shire Reeve. The role of Shire Reeve is one of the best to go against corruption, they essentially served the King to oversee the Earl and his actions (though in Anglo-Saxon England they more specifically issued "Writs" and ensured that Earls weren't giving out fake Laws). Shire Reeves should be brought back to ensure Earls are doing their jobs and not just making money off of their citizens.

Customals

Quick question, do you understand the situation of my town? Of coarse not. Do you understand the customs and traditions of your town? Of coarse not, Do you think you know what is best for my town? I hope not. But at the end of the day you have as much of an idea of these things as London does. Now do I understand these things? Yes. Does everybody in my town understand these things? Also yes. So who would question that me and the people of my town should decide ultimately the laws of our town. Now of coarse some Laws should be universal (Murder for example...) but ultimately we know what is good for us. We do not need the government to decide what should be built to "stimulate the local economy" because the reality is it will likely destroy a historic building and lose funding and be forgotten about halfway through construction (real story, it looks really ugly now it has been constructed as well). This the reality of centralism and does not fall to the liberal concept of federalism.

File:WitanJabotite.png Reconciliation of the Witan and the legitimate Royal House

One of the aspects of my Ideology most questioned has been the Witan in the light of the doctrines of Jacobitism, this section seeks to discuss how these may be Reconciled. First of all let's look into the history of the Witan and then the writings of the great Melville Henry Maussue. The Witan as mentioned in the section titled "the Witan" (I know, very difficult to find) the Witan was made up of the nobles of the Kingdom and was used as an advisory body to what was their current Monarch and to decide from the closest relatives of the Monarch who would hold the title of Monarch in Pre-1066 England. Now we move onto the only peice of Jacobite theory I could obtain or even find (thanks File:UyTradition.png Urutraditionalism for finding those Jacobite Authors, I am glad to have found a piece of Jacobite theory among those books) "A Legitimist Kalender for the year of our Lord" in which Mausse details the various legitimist movements across Europe from his own legitimist perspective. He writes "The raison d'etre for the Jacobite party to-day is the maintenance of the principle of the hereditaty as opposed to the parliamentary right to the throne of these realms" and as a Jacobite it is clear that I should abide by this pronciple. This at first seems irreconcilable with the Earthly power of the Witan rather than the divine power at hand in the simple succession of the Eldest Son. However my interpretation does reconcile these two ideas. My interpretation is that the King roots his power in the unquestionable heritage of his royal house, but at the same time the wisdom of the Witan should select which heir deserves the Throne. I do modify the specifics of the deciding of who should be the Monarch to better abide by this pronciple. How do I modify it (what you can't read my mind, shocker) you may ask? Well instead of any Male relative of the latest King's Father it is any child, regardless of Gender, of the previous King. However this does leave a question at hand. Which Child? in the next part of this section I shall detail the types of Monarchs I would see most appropriate for various national situations, with a good (usually British) example of a Monarch who's reign follows the type it is an example to.

• Warrior Kingship: This Monarch should be elected at a time where the country is in utmost need of a wise warrior King to vanquish the enemies and likewise traitors of the Kingdom. A good example, though a failed one, is Edmund Ironside. He did well in the way that he vanquished many enemies of his Kingdom until he was betrayed by his relative at the final decisive battle. This Kingship is one for the survival of the Kingdom rather than any major reform.
• Avenger of the Nation: This Kingship is needed when the nation is at a far greater threat than in the case of a Warrior King. In this case the Nation is divided between a foreign occupation. A good example of this is Alexander III of Scotland. He continued his Father's mission to reconquer the Hebrides and Mann from the Norwegians. This Kingship is to regain lost lands which is so the nation may prosper again.
• The Learned Monarch: This Monarch should arise when the Country is entering an age of Prosperity and is in need of a Wise King to make new laws and reforms to aid the countrie's prosperity. An excellent example is Alfred the Great. Alfred is often remembered for his, impressive, defiance against the Heathen Vikings, but he was perhaps even more impressive in peacetime when it is clear his original calling to be an intellectual was paying off. He reformed the legal system, the military, and, perhaps inspired by charlemagne, revived learning. He also was rather succesful diplomatically, not only writing letters to spiritual leaders such as the Pope and the Patriarch of Jerusalem, but also was quite interested and cooperative with the Welsh and Irish Kingdoms and Principalities. It is key to note that no reform by a Learned Monarch should conflict with the rights of the Clans or the Customals, or other forms of Local Government.
• The "Clean Up" Monarch: This monarch is a necessity in times that the Kingdom is Threatened by such threats as Protestantism, liberalism, and Secularism. This is a necessary leadership for the stability of the Nation. Though the Methods should be different (I will expand on this, in the meantime visit File:CleanUp.png Clean-Up Centrism for a fairly close look at the methods used in order to stabilise the nation) a good example of this sort of Monarch is Mary I. Her reign was characterised with the slowing of the Tide of Protestantism. She also wasn't as "bloody" as people claim she was, she killed less protestants than other Monarchs did Catholics. But another thing that should be remembered is that she didn't just punish Heretics, but revived many Catholic Traditions, truly she did not only destroy,but build. I would modify this to not only revive (in cases where that is needed) but renew.
• The "Layed Back" Monarch: I know you may end up thinking "why should we have a layed back Monarch" well the answer is that sometimes no change is needed. Temporarily it is possible for the Monarch's Predecessors to have made the situation stable for a ruler to lay back and concern themselves with other issues such as Love, Theology, and Learning. The best example I can think of is most of the Queens who found themselves to be Head of State. Indeed this reign is for the purpose of a Monarch, not messing things up. When the situation could call for it the other Monarchs would have been elected.

Welfare

In this section I describe the methods in which the population should take care of one another without submitting themselves into an oppressive and non-understanding system of Welfare. I Believe the responsibility of Welfare should be delegated to multiple powers in a much more free Welfare System. The First is the Royal State that provides essential Nationwide services such as Healthcare and Education. Next that Tythings should be brought back but with a different purpose, rather than legality it would a self-help system of Welfare. And the rest of Welfare such as Spiritual and Moral Guidance should be provided for by the local nobility and the Church.

Local Paternalism

In Tything Welfare I basically said that the system fails to connect and help people on the personal level, once again I use this argument for Localisation of Paternalism. With this however, this can't be put in the hands of every ten households. So what do we do? We should give this fatherly role to two entities, the Local Nobility, and the Local Church (The latter the majority of the time). This will help end this swamp of Corruption that we have found ourselves wading through.

Anti-Extremism

Now on the Extreme chart of Extreme stuff I would put me as between Moderate Extremism and Extreme Moderatism (Very exciting, I know). Now we got that cleared I can explain this as a non-hypocrite! How sensational! Anyway one reason Local Paternalism is cut a bit short is because this kind of falls under it and I really wanted this to get it's own belief. What is evident just by taking a stroll through this website is that Politics is becoming polarised, now this is in part due to American Media but at the same time extreme ideologies are out there and can lead to grave instability. So to fight this tide that threatens all that is good and safe, policies should be made. So first of all there should be tax on extremist books such as Mein Kampf and the Communist Manifesto to reduce sales of them. People themselves should be guided away from extremism simply by being shown the evils of it. Finally, genuine hate should be made illegal, not micro-aggressions, screaming the n-word at a person of colour sort of thing.

On Education

The role of Education is to uplift the spirit and the skill of the person. This does not work the same for everybody. Some people are destined to live peacefully on the farm (although it is key to note that the Farmer should not be a lowly job, all jobs have dignity and so all jobs should be able to provide a level of comfort) and other people are destined to write books on theology and philosophy. We cannot expect a single school system to provide everybody with a knowledge everything they need to know. And so I believe the following education system to be the best:

• Prior to School: Prior to Education parents have the choice between looking after the child at home, or sending the child to a nursery. The BBC will provide educational channels such as CBeebies (a channel I watched in my much younger years) to help advantage them for the next stage.

• Primary School: The introduction to Education. This is where children will learn the basics. They learn the basics of how to stay alive, some simple knowledge for their next path, some key morals, and what they need to choose as their next path (that last bit will make sense soon).

Now the child is presented with Secondary Education. However Secondary Education is a little different in the way that it is not one unified education system. These are the three pathways you choose.

• Liberal Arts Education: Now for that one Right Wing Populist nutter out there reading this, the idea of Liberal Arts has nothing to do with Liberalism. It doesn't actually have much to do with Art either. This is an education in fields that require a level of "free" thinking. These fields are the arts, philosophy, mathematics, and writing.

• Disciplinary Education: This is for fields that require intellect in an area but do not need free thinking. This is chiefly for scientific fields such as biology or chemistry. Another way of saying this is that it is for experimental fields that require intellect, they are not based on abstract thought.

• Skill Education: This is for jobs that don't need intellectual prowess. This education covers trades, trading, housewifery, and farming (among others)

However all these forms of education should include education in Catholicism.

Society and Culture

Right it's summary time (yay how exciting). So in terms of Society and Culture I think it best to use a building as a metaphor here, if we view British Society as a building it was founded on the pillars of British Culture. Of coarse when you take these pillars away these pillars society destabilises, take away enough and it can all together collapse. Now when I say this I am not simply being hypothetical, we have seen this. Commitment to family life has died and now Children have become nomads, we have forgotten much of our linguistic heritage and now those who haven't forgotten blame innocents and now our beautiful union is threatened. Thus I believe that Society should grounded in British Culture and guided by Christ and the Morality of his Church.

Before we go on about Morals, culture, language, food and all that we need to go on about something that is far more tangible, tangible heritage! I know, what a creative name. Anyway the country is in crisis. Our heritage is being threatened by a lack of money to fund it's maintenance. However there is one more group that can help fund it. Charity. Now of coarse there should be plenty of small charities but also one large fund for Natural, Agricultural and Historic Heritage. This would mean the unification of such charities as English Heritage, Scottish Heritage, and the RSPB (among others) for the purpose of funding our heritage and stopping it falling into disrepair.

British food I'll admit is not everybody's cup of tea (see made a tea reference there) but it is one of the best parts of British Culture (even if it is banned on Catholic Gang discord Gastronomy channel). It tastes nice, if your british, otherwise it depends, and so many areas have there own random food for some reason. It is for these reasons and more we should preserve and embrace traditional foods. If you don't agree then consider it food for thought lol.

One of the best aspects of not just the UK, but the whole of the British Isles, is the linguistic heritage that has such an awesome diversity. However (please note I am a unionist) English has become some sort of default language. Schools should teach three mandatory languages, English, Scottish Gaelic, and Welsh with options which schools are required to provide at least one of being Cornish, Manx, and Irish. There should also be a subject which schools are not required to provide called historical languages where students can learn about a variety of historical languages from the British Isles such as Classical Gaelic, Old English, and Norn.

The BBC has provided quality entertainment, such as Doctor Who, alongside incredible educational programmes, such as Planet Earth, the BBC should be kept and the TV license continued as it is, in general, a force for good and helps make British people that little bit smarter. While this sounds a bit Corporationist, the BBC should provide the British public with educational resources which can help make British people more aware and thus make more intelligent decisions in life. This will also try and get people off the phone/tablet watching Pornography and Brainrot, and on the new David Attenborough Documentary.

Currently society is not just very, but overtly sexualised. It is disgusting that people are almost... pressured into having multiple sexual experiences, with multiple people before they are married. Many would tell you a sexually "liberated" society would be perfect but really, no, just no. For starters there is the biological fact that this would lead to ED, but besides this it does pressure teenagers into having underage sexual experiences. But now there is the issue of what to do. Well starters this should be discouraged by the BBC (as discussed before) but other steps would be needed. There should be a tax on sellers of revealing clothing however revealing clothing being worn shouldn't necessarily be made illegal. Now one last step is for the File:Catheo.png The One True Church to control marriage. Now as for a clarification Gay marriage shouldn't be made illegal "because it is weird" but because it easily leads to Gay Sex. One final note is that that the only sexual act that should be explicitly illegal is Rape as it is by far the most dangerous, evil, and has a lack of consent that others do (though regrettably), also Pedophilia counts as Rape.

Honour

(Please note this section may contain repeated points/arguments)

Historically, in Britain at least, Honour has been one of the best agents at which we, or at least factions of we, have defeated our enemies. At the Battle of Assandun, when the English under Edmund the Ironside, a figure I greatly admire, fought Canute, who would be known as "the Great", honour was prevalent in the Hearts of the English under the Ironside however the English did not take victory. Why? Because a faction of English under Eadric, would decide to take off and betray his Brother in Law, his country, and his honour. After this they say only nightfall ended the massacre of English Soldiers. But I assume you, the reader, would not have been alive on the 18th of October 1016 so to allow your miniscule "2025" brains (if you can't tell that was a joke, please don't "humanitarianly" intervene me) to comprehend honour I will use a modern example, Sexual Harassment, I know what does Sexual Harassment have to do with a battle from over 1000 years ago well now you can sit there and let me explain (lucky you)! So Honour extends far beyond blood-loyalty and battle-brotherhood and encompasses manners as well. Women should never be objectified or used as mere sex-objects. They should be respected as Women. This of coarse means men should be "chivalrous" and treat Women with a high level of dignity, rather than saying "You have a nice [censored for viewership reasons] momma" or "bitch just gimme [censored for viewership reasons]" or actions such as "Butt-Pinching" or other unwanted sexual contact. The fact that this is becoming normalised is deeply disturbing and another reason to reverse the American Cultural Wave that is threatening traditional British values such as honour.

Folk Traditionism

Well we have talked of bringing back our Nation's Soul, our Nation's Vital Organs, and raising our Nation's intelligence. But what of it's Character? What of the many characters across Britain? Well first I would point out that fighting other cultures has never worked, what happens is that it fails to stimulate it's culture. Indeed it can even destroy one's own culture by creating a liberal hatred of it and a an anti-liberal false-victory-blindness. As such British and local culture should be stimulated, not falsely protected. But how do we stimulate culture? Well here we shall once more delve into British, and this time Scandinavian history. We need the return of one particular role, the Anglo-Saxons called them Scops, the Irish, Scottish, and Welsh called them Bards, and the Norse called them Skalds. These people knew the poems, the songs, and the folklore of their regions. Indeed they new the Folk culture of their region. They were the great stimulators of culture. The Localities should employ these people in order to stimulate their local culture.

Reversing the Reformation

This one may sound "biggotted" but it is much more than that. So before you condemn me I encourage you to read this. There were many streams that joined together to make that oh-so-evil torrent that are the Consequences of the Williamite Invasion (please see the rant on Williamites in "other views") and indeed the main propagator in it's success. So what was so wrong about it? Firstly it's foundations are far less than holy. The Anglican Church was founded on Henrie's lust for Divorce, how can a Church be holy when it is founded on such unholy foundations? Not to mention that the State should not control the Church, the Church should advise the State. No truth can be muttered when that Truth goes against the State's acts, truly the Anglican Commune is illegitimate. Next as I mention the State should not be uncriticised and I see the Church as the fairest measure in which a state may be criticised. The Church holds the truth, this truth should influence politics rather than politics creating falsehood disguised as the Truth. The Anglican Church must be brought back to Rome if a Jacobite Monarchy is ever to succeed. But of coarse on top of this a Catholic revival must come to the United Kingdom if the Anglican Church being brought under the Catholic Church is ever going to be worth anything.

(Please note I am an Ideologically Tory unlike the Tory party but I do not affiliate with the British Conservative Party who, I would argue, are a traitor to Toryism.)

(Also Please note this is more an explanation of an Ideology I follow rather than a Belief)

I am a Tory, of coarse not a political tory, but an ideological tory. The tory party is a traitor to Toryism. But what is Toryism? Lets spend ages going through it (it's your lucky day). So Toryism was developed in 1600s in defense of James II's right to the throne. They stood to uphold the system, so you could quite easily argue that it therefore holds it's origins in all Traditional British politics until this point, especially considering that they were carrying the flame of defense of what is right and tradition, that had been passed down from such events as the civil war and even the reformation. It is only logical for a British Catholic to follow Toryism. So Toryism carried in into the early 1900s where we can see one of the greatest thinkers of Toryism, Chesterton. Chesterton was (unfortunately) influenced by Conservatism because by this point, they were believed to be synonymous. However this meant he was much more open to Continental influences. So Chesterton did make a superb contribution in the way he could be considered to have mastered Traditionalism within the movement when describing the "Democracy of the dead".

Conservatism on the other hand has no such roots. Conservatsm can be traced conclusively to Burke, although can be seen to have origins earlier liberals. Burke was a supporter of the Constitutional Monarchical system and so he wanted to kill tradition in favour of a Liberal system. A fact he in fact can be seen supporting Liberalism. The issue is that he didn't only influence the many conservative movements of the globe, but also in Britain a far worse situation emerged as the Conservative party has become a purely capitalistic version of this.

So I support Toryism as it has it's roots based on the Traditional politics of the entire history of Britain, whether as Conservatism bases itself on liberalism and on protecting the Liberal system.

Stop London

London has grown at an alarming rate. As it (and other Cities) grow they engulf previously stable, peaceful, and connected communities. It has taken land from East Anglia and now Men in the south of my county identify with Londoners as de-facto Londoners. London is systematically destroying small communities by removing the members of these communitie's identity. My town is losing it's pubs, it's accent, it's morality and why? Because London is submitting us to their overlordship. People complain immigrants are the ones exploiting school children and dishing out drugs, the fault of that belongs to London, who's size has started county lines.

The Clans

I have mentiones the Clans to be of a resurrected importance in politics, however this has the doubled effect of bringing the extended family closer together. When they are bound by society to talk to each other they become connected to one another's lives, they will not be isolated from each other because meeting each other is by default required if they would ever succeed as a clan. Clan members would have the added responsibility of being responsible for each other.

I also believe that each Clan's leadership should have a level of intellectual ability, with philosophy, theology, and other fields should be the center of each Clan, something that helps this is that the chances are that the Patriarch or Matriarch of the clan is likely to be elderly.

The Tythings

Of coarse Clans rely on genealogical heritage, but there is another way in which social cohesian will be provided. The Tythings. The Tythings shall act in a very similar manner to Clans, but with some major differences. The first one is that the Tythings are built around land while clans are built around family and people. The other is that Tythings should not have a legislative body as land would already have legislature. Now it is time to answer on what Tythings actually are, cause they are hardly a famous political structure. So the Tythings were one of the units of land ownership in pre-1066 England. They were made up of roughly every ten households, what they would do is keep an eye on each other and report each other for crimes they commit (a police force was not practical in those days) but in a modern context this should be modified. We have a police force now, Tythings in that sense are not needed anymore. However we can change our interpretation of this. My interpretation of Tythings is that it's members should look after each other and should settle minor disputes between the Tythingsmen and Tythingswomen. This will ultimately lead to closer communities and much less antisocialism.

On Femininity

Truly one of the many topics that concerns me most is that of the rights and role of the woman. Truly it is concerning that such organisations as "Manosphere" exist and have gained a large popular front. My first matter of discussion is that of the Female worker. Now I will ignore my Economic stances for this section due to my idea of a universal standard on this issue. So Firstly many would tell you that the Woman's role is to be a good Housewife and thus should be barred from work. The Feminist will argue this is an oppression and that the woman should work. And so they become what they swore to go against, an oppressor of women. So which oppressor do you side with? I side with neither the barring of women from work nor the forcing of women to work. And so I believe that women should be allowed to work, rather than it being required to by society. How? Well while it would be allowed for women to work, there should be institutions in place, run by the Church, State, and local authorities, in order to make it a much more than viable option for women.

Technology

We, as Homo Sapiens, have survived for centuries because God gave us the gift of innovation. I fear that we have reached a point where our own innovation is a threat to our existence, and so we should limit, in some respects, our innovation, to hinder anymore damage that those areas of innovation cause, while showing significant support for other areas in order to reverse the damage already done.

Picture this, your parents buy you a gift, what are you going to do with this gift? You are going to take care of it. It is no different when it comes to God and this Planet. The Natural Heritage of the Isles is the Heritage of the Heritage of the Isles nonetheless. One of the ways of achieving this is taxing cars and re-nationalising trains. Trains are a far more eco-friendly mode of public transport. They cause much less habitat destruction. They are far cheaper, and they result in much less pollution. A mix of renewable energy sources from Britain and neighbouring countries (which we would have deals with) should be used to drastically decrease our carbon footprint. Rewilding projects should be pursued just as species conservation projects should. farming should be brought to locals with the local market system restored and space farming projects should be established to deliver to areas of famine.

Space Policy

I advocate for the Exploration of space and for the Advancement of technology in an organised fashion in order to combat the climate crisis. I support the exploration of space in service to more easily steward Earth, for example collecting metal and mineral resources from other worlds to save them being gathered on Earth, or advancing carbon collection and renewable resources.

Foreign Policy

There is little I can give an introduction to other than I support CANZUK and see China, Russia, and to a lesser extent the USA as evil states.

The West has, for many years, been America's "gang". This has seen the rise of populism, gang violence, and overall indecency hailing directly from American media. Do not get me wrong. America has produced some great films, but the American media has lead to the decline of civilised commonwealth values even leading to anti-british sentiment to be held by british people. This should be combated by a CANZUK/CANZUK like institution to be formed and pan-CANZUK media to be established. This media can promote historical and traditional CANZUK values.

The British Isles are, divided, nobody is really sure what do you believe, Unionism is more of a Policy than an Ideology, truly my "woke" father is as unionist as my classical right wing populist grandfather. We even have disagreements on what qualifies as deserving to be part of the Union, with some only going for Great Britain and others supporting bloody France to join. Well let's look into our all-powerful Jacobite Answer. So first off let's talk Ireland. Back in Stuart Britain Ireland was part of the British crown, though Ireland was a seperate entity to Great Britain (now is a time to note that I view the acts in the reigns of Queen Anne and William of Orange to not be totally illegitimate, they were partially legitimate due to there heritage so their acts were partially legitimate). Great Britain and Ireland were then brought under one Nation under the Hanoverians (their reigns to be considered totally illegitimate). They later rebranded as "the Windsors" and they made the two illegitimate authorities of Ireland, the Republic, and Northern Ireland. These Authorities are illegitimate because the Republic was not the Windsor's to give away, making it illegitimate, and Northern Ireland was not Hanover's to take as part of the Union. So what is right? Well it is simply that either Ireland is united under a Jacobite Monarch, or that it is united under it's own Monarch, but either way it should be under a unified authority.

On China

Of all the oligarchical superpowers, China gets away with the most. Currently they are taking on the People of Hong Kong, the People of Tibet, and are genociding the Uyghurs. The Chinese propaganda is indeed, impressive, though evil. It has convinced the world it is not extremely evil but rather mildly bad. I believe the best solution here is to end it, but sadly an oppurtunity to end it is likely to never arrive, and thus this section is more of an opinion than a conkrete belief. Tibet should be independent, it was invaded unlawfully and is still being oppressed. Uyghur should also be independent, it is quite literally being Genocided and no nation deserves to be under a state that would do that. As for Hong Kong all I know is that it should not be under China, whether it is independent or part of the CANZUK family is up to the people of Hong Kong.

The Legitimist International

In case you haven't realised, I am a Jacobite. And as a Jacobite I am part of the "international legitimist party" (thanks Melville Henry Massue) and as such hold sympathies for such movements as Carlism. However I believe that there should be a legitimist international. A cooperation between States and movements to ensure the rule of the rightful rulers of the many nations of this world. There are a surprising amount of legitimacies, though an apparent lack of legitimist movements.

Patriotic Internationalism

I am proud to be British. This seperates me from the Nationalist who is proud not to belong to a foreign nation. I, like every other true patriot, acknowledge that every nation is of value, well maybe not France for all the Nations are called to God's table, it is a grave mistake to believe that your nation is the only one that should be cared for. Thus all the nations that are called to God's Table should aid each other, and all those who believe in this should guide all the Nations towards Christ. But the cooperation of Nations is not to be confused with going against Nationhood. The Nations of the world belong to one global community but they also belong to their own respective Nations and regions (I will touch on regions in a future segment) and thus should cooperate as citizens of God and of Christendom.

The Regions of this world

We have spoken of the importance of global cooperation and the importance of the cooperation of Christendom. But one of the wonders of the Nations of this Earth is the phenomenom of the worlds of this world. Through the many languages of the world it has only been natural for nations to have influenced each other and to continue to influence each other in many ways. And so I support the British Languages speaking world to cooperate, just as I support the French Speaking world to do the same with their world.

The Bond to the Lusosphere

The bond between the British and the Portuguese has been one that has existed for as long as Nation of Portugal has existed. English Crusaders ended up landing in Iberia, where they pledged support for Alfonso, and went off to fight with him in the siege of Lisbon. In fact many Lisboners who's families have lived there since this time can trace their heritage to these English Crusaders. The Nations of England and Portugal cooperated for many, many years. But then the Hanoverians came and, though they did not destroy this partnership, did steal many Portuguese Colonies and did not care for the portuguese after the first World War. Hence as Jacobites we must have a support for the Lusosphere.

A World Turned Upside Down: The Williamites are responsible for all wrong with British Politics

When you see this you may think "wow this is a Jacobite Rant if I have seen one" and it essentially is, so read now, insult later. This section will have multiple paragraphs. In 1688 there was a truly un-glorious revolution lead by the Whiggs. This evil is directly responsible for all that is wrong with British and Irish Politics. From the Troubles to those traitors of Toryism ( the British Conservative Party) and even, in part, to the rise of Reform UK.

The first thing I shall blame the Williamites for is the most obvious, the Troubles. In Northern Ireland

The Naval Need

"Rule Britannia, Britannia Rule the Waves" - it is unfortunate that I can no longer fully believe these lyrics. Indeed we are an Island Nation. Our Borders cushioned with water, then why do we no longer put effort into our navy? It is concerning that such nations as France are comparable in terms of Naval size to that of the United Kingdoms. We truly are in deep Waters (see the epic joke). And as such I view it as necessary to expand upon our Navy, of coarse, bearing in mind, that should some sort of union (International or National) should form between the nations of CANZUK, three of the four nations would be islands with the fourth one having a large coastline.

Not only do I support the Navy for the sake of National Security and pride,but also as preparation for the inevitable event of a new wave of Piracy. Why would there be a new wave of Piracy? Well to be quite honest it is because of economics. As I mentioned in Economics the only way for businesses to obtain foreign materials is through Merchants, and of coarse the cargo of these Merchants would be, well, quite valuable. The greed of men inevitably would lead to Piracy, without a strong Navy to patrol and protect trade routs and the Merchants trading via them. Of coarse a large Navy is expensive, who should pay for it? Well I would say the on top of normal tax there should be a Naval Tax on Merchants at Port. This is why I advocate for such institutions as the Navy.

Influences

Perhaps the best way of understanding how I came to my conclusions is by understanding the circumstances by which I have come to them. These are the things that have influenced my political beliefs.

The Three Pillars

Canadian, Australian, and New Zealander law, political bodies, and all that are of that ilk are fundamentally based on British law, political bodies, and all that are of that ilk. British (I won't repeat it, for your sake) is based upon three pillars that are the three nations of Great Britain and I hope to embody a different take on these three pillars.

Wales

I will admit, I have a shameful lack of thought for the Welsh traditions and mechanisms of governing, something I hope to change. However in the meantime I think my most Welsh characteristic is, at least in part, using the Arthurian justification as part of my Jacobite justification. This section will be expanded once I have expanded on beliefs from the Welsh Traditions.

Scotland

I hope to also expand on Scottish Traditions however Scotland is fairly well covered. I understood that their should be a level of popular representation on the National Level but realised national democracy, in the current view of it, leads to populism and moral corruption. And I saw the best conclusion to be Clans. On the personal level I have a deep admiration for Scottish culture and view it as central to British culture.

Catholicism

This is the fundamental ethical framework by which my ideology is built around. I have heard teachings in Church, read theology online, and read much of the Bible (though I wish to read the whole thing through soon), and thus I have grown to truly try to embody the teachings of the Church, both politically and in normal life.
